So, I was originally working on something set directly after "Memory": the confrontation with Benny. Then I remembered that I hadn't ever written the all-important Boulder City encounter.

Well, I started writing up the Boulder City stuff as a flashback - since I'd already intended to have flashbacks to when Nanami was actually shot and revived by Doc Mitchell. 

Then I realized that this was becoming pretty long, and it actually fit another of the 100 Themes "No Way Out". So, ultimately, I decided to just go ahead and make this another stand-alone entry - technically, the first one, chronologically speaking.

So, that's how this came to be its own thing instead of flashbacks in the next story. That next story shouldn't take TOO long, since parts of it are already done. Anyway!
